THE ATTACK ON THE CATHOLIC IS AN ATTACK ON THE 1ST AMMENDMENT

Please read my rant and then check out the article below.
Catholics need to learn that this attack on the Catholic Church is not all about birth control. It’s
about maintaining our rights under the 1st Amendment to religious
freedom. So many Catholics have been coopted by the notion of social justice
that they have lost the true meaning of Christ’s/the Bible’s teachings about
the value of life. So many people have been convinced that all they need should
come from the government. The government is the new “God” to them. Wake up! Our
ancestors left their homelands because Kings considered themselves to have
absolute power over all that was in the realm. Things happened because the King
allowed it to happen. Sound familiar? Obama says this often, “We have decided
to allow……….” Where does he get off saying that? This government only gets its
power if the people allow it. That is what is meant by “We the People” in our
Constitution. It doesn’t say “I the President or King, as the leader of the
people”. The very first article in the Constitution says that the
legislative power is vested in the Congress (the elected representatives of We
the People). So how did we get to point that the President just makes laws all
on his own by executive edict? Because we’ve been asleep and complacent, happy
to get free stuff from the government so that these people get reelected. The very
first amendment to the Constitution says in part “Congress shall make no
laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise
thereof.” In other words religion is off limits to the government. Notice
also it says Congress shall make no laws because making law is the
purview of Congress not the President. So where does the President get off
saying he will allow the Church to do anything, especially something
that violates the teaching of the faith.
The Department of Health
and Human Service, the EPA and the FDA are always making regulation to stop
various poisons from entering our environment like lead in paint, mercury in
fish, smog in the air, heroin and other drug that harm us. Why? It’s because
they harm humans. Well what do birth control pills and the morning after pill
do? They poison the body to cause their desired affects. The government
regulates teens getting tattoos, using tanning beds and in most schools you
aren’t allowed to even possess and aspirin tablet but this administration wants
to allow underage girls or their boyfriends to get the Morning After pill over
the counter without a prescription. If you don’t think the morning after pill
is poisonous just ask someone that has used them how they felt the Morning
After taking the pill.
